TATA Dealers are so happy that they have already been flooded with calls. Looks like this car is going to have a wait period of atleast one year after registration (like our good old days when we waited eternally to get a telephone line after booking - we got the telephone line connected to our residence two years after registration). With rear engine, this car, looks like a modified version of our Autorickshaws. So what? Its going to be the world's cheapest car. At this point, all I am worried about is the traffic chaos !!

Not sure if this would be such a great success, but probably yes, because the price puts it withing the reach of vast majority of India's middle class.
But anyway, the international press is trying to spin this as a pollution menance. China has 7 times more cars than India and no one is talking about pollution created by China. India should learn how to lobby.
